I’ve been working with the same wing for quite awhile, and as a result, we’ve developed a few strategies that might be useful to some of you. Wingman game is all about coordination. If you aren’t coordinated, then winging will never work for you. However, if you are, then you can reap great benefits. The first strategy that we’ve developed is figuring our which girl not to hit on when in set. We establish this by using a code phrase or word for the target of the first guy to enter the set. This strategy is pretty obvious, but it makes sure that we both aren’t trying to game the same girl. The next strategy that we’ve begun incorporating, is making sure that we aren’t using the same or similar material. How stupid are you going to look if your wingman uses a routine, and then you walk into the set and use the same thing? Or what if the girls talk later on, and then realize that both of you used very similar material on them once you had them separated? If you’re wings, chances are, you’re going to share material with one another. It’s fine to use the same material when you’re not around one another. However, if you’re going to be winging each other, then you have to figure out what material your wingman is going to be using, and then don’t use it yourself. Figure this out before you head out for the night. Alright, so some material might be a little obvious or not that great when your wingman springs it out of nowhere.
